Albemarle Home Care

Our professional, experienced staff provides nursing care and therapy for patients in their own homes.  Patients often need home health care following surgery.  And, with today's shorter hospital stays, many people can benefit from home health services.  We provide infusion therapy, wound care, ostomy care, patient/family education, assessment and monitoring, and more.

Eligibility and Payments

For a patient to qualify for Albemarle Home Care programs, the services must be ordered by a physician.  We work with each patient's physician, family, and other caregivers to develop a plan of care that meets each patient's needs.

Albemarle Home Care services are usually covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and most insurance plans.  We also accept patients without insurance, and will discuss financial arrangements for private payment.  Our services are easy to arrange, and convenient for patients and their families.

We provide our homecare and hospice services in northeastern North Carolina, including the counties: Gates, Chowan, Perquimans, Pasquotank, Camden, and Currituck.
